Anoop John is a good friend of mine. He completed his Masters from Penn State and briefly worked in US before returning to Kerala, India to start a company of his own. Ever since he has been doing great things that amazes me. Now he is set for another amazing thing; FreedomWalk.
Freedom walk is a project aimed at spreading the message of ‘Freedom in Society’, ‘Freedom from Environmental Issues’, and ‘Freedom in Software’ and to promote activism around these freedoms. As part of this mobilization campaign a team of volunteers are going to walk from Kasargode to Trivandrum and organize seminars and talks on these freedoms at educational institutions and non profit organizations.
Its a grueling 400 700 miles journey. They are planning to finish it in 40 days. During this period they are planning to organize workshops and camps at various educational institutions promoting freedom. Wish him good luck. Subscribe to their mailing list. More information here .
